CSC Sweatiest Angel - December 2016

Congratulations to Neil Ningard on winning CSC's last Sweatiest Angel award for 2016! The Sweatiest Angel award is given each month to a CSC member who displays significant work ethic, a willingness to support others and a true sense of camaraderie inside the gym.

Neil came to CSC like a lot of guys who enjoy lifting do - with a lot of upper body strength and in seek of some lower body conditioning.  Since joining CSC, Neil has increased his lower body strength significantly, his conditioning, mobility and range of motion significantly, and even increased his already impressive upper body strength with a 385 lb bench press and 235 lb strict press.  And the most impressive part is that he's done it with an awesome work ethic and a giant smile on his face.  Congrats Neil, we love having you as a member!

 What is your favorite WOD/movement?
My favorite movements are pull-ups and handstand pushups.

What is your LEAST favorite WOD/movement?
Least favorite is anything running.

What are your goals for CrossFit?
Goals are to improve conditioning and lower body strength.

What has your experience been with CrossFit?
My experience with CrossFit is not one day is easier than any other day. They all kick your ass in one way or another.

One thing you've done at CSC you never thought you would do?
One thing I've done at CSC that I never thought I'd do is a double under.

What advice would you give someone just starting CrossFit?
Advice to someone is to stick with it for at least 4 months or so and see what happens.  It can't be a bad thing, right?
